Man, we have a big release today! So I was making an iPhone web application, iGazebo, which streams episodes of my adult comedy program, The Gazebo On The Go, in the background. You can listen while doing other things on your iPhone and download the MP3s from this application. Pretty cool right? Well I thought the logo I drew for it was so cool that I turned it into a wallpaper. The wallpaper comes in black and white versions.

Firefox 3.6 has been released and with it they have a new theme system called Personas. Think of it as wallpapers for Firefox. When you think wallpapers you think about ZicklePop Productions right? My mom has taken up knitting stuffed monsters. These things are not only awesome, they are adorable. She just finished making one for me using the colors I suggested. I was inspired to recreate it and then when I finished decided to make it into a wallpaper.

So I got one and went to Sticviews to design a custom sticker for the lid from my art. I also had my excellent mother knit a felt slipcase for it that I designed. For a Windows machine this thing is amazing and mine looks amazing.

This website launched while I was heavily under the influence of Atlas Shrugged and since I have read Ayn Rand’s other three novels. I am a big fan of hers so it’s time to do some honoring!

Yesterday I designed me some little Space Invaders and I was wondering what I could use them for. Today I was helping get rid of some broken monitors when I realized I could have some fun. I smashed the monitors, recorded it, and put it on my podcast network Awesome Inc. Along with that I made a new intro to my critically acclaimed podcast, so check it out.

I drew this wallpaper in my head last Friday as I was driving downhill on a curvy road. In between the hairpin turns I had it all done. When I got home I sketched it out on paper and drew it the following morning. I like how it came out. It’s available in wide screen and standard forms.

The concept was more complex then anything I’ve done before. Imagine if the world was flat and how it would probably look to those in the days of the flat world. Then add waterfalls to the edges. Waterfalls are always awesome.

This past Thursday I decided to broadcast an entire day of my life on the internet for my video network, Awesome Inc. I used my 12″ Powerbook, iSight, EVDO card, and uStream.tv. I started at 6:00 AM and broadcasted live all day from my car to college classes. Some of the noteable things I did was get a shot, eat sushi, and drive through an area where no cell phone gets signal and my EVDO card did not lose signal.

No one asked me about my camera and I did not tell anyone but a few friends the day before. I had an average of three people watching at any given moment and I recorded 11-hours of my day for people to go back and watch.

One of the things I learned from this is that it is exhausting.  By 4 o’clock I was ready to turn off the camera and go to bed. It also helped me to be more aware of my actions knowing that anyone could be watching me.

Was it fun? Totally. Will I do it again? No idea.

Now when we drive to companies and services they will ask for our e-mail address to spam us. They will tell us they cannot help us, that we have to go to their website. We go directly to the source to get turned down. Turned down, but yet someone is being paid to sit behind a desk and tell people that they can do nothing without you going to their website.

Designers! My tongue for a designer for these poor souls! Because when you go to these websites you are lucky if you can find the page you are looking for! The web developers! Unencrypted submission forms for submitting credit card and social security numbers, I think not.

Well certainly the thinking minds of the world would show they can do one better, but even colleges fail to provide a website worth anything. This is why we go to you in person, but the stooges turn us down.

You fools! You have it so easy, you could also help us in person. Not only are you cheep and foolish, you are sacrificing the people who want to be educated at your own expense.

I will stop you. Who am I? I am Jake Bilbrey. Followed by those who are those who want common sense back. You stole it from us and we will steal your thunder from you. We will not stop until your ideas are lying face down in your own server rooms.
