Today I got to see a live taping of Diggnation at Chattanooga, TN. They were here for the Cre824 (Create Twenty-Four), which is a web developing convention and a contest to create the best website in twenty-four hours. Their topic was “What Would The World Be Like In 50 Years”. No clue how that was working out, someone brought their 30″ Apple Cinema Display and their Powermac G5! If you want to know why I mentioned it, you should take a look at the price tags. Wasn’t a big turn out, wasn’t a big party, still was fun. There was a booth there giving out free samples of their energy drink which, get this, comes in Green Tea flavor! Holy crap. The award show is tomorrow night and I have no clue who or what will win or happen. They did have some nice shirts though! After the tapping of Diggnation I got to talk to Kevin Rose, Alex Albrecht, David “Prager!”, and Keith Harrison. It was a great time, hope they come back! I’ll add more photos to my Flickr when I can.
